What can we learn from Brown's victory?

Yesterday was an exciting day for conservatives around the nation and it's easily the most thrilling day I've had in my time following politics. I had a chill while I watched news reports and listened to the radio. It was amazing to watch everyone stand up and take part in the process. It was really something special. We are awake and aware of what is going on.
An energy is pulsing through the American people and that energy is a strong pull towards conservatism. We have rejected the hard left. We don't want government takeovers of large parts of our economy, don't want handouts, don't want bailouts, and don't want to hear the term to big to fail. We are sick and tired of this craziness and on January 19, 2010 we took the first step to correcting the government's problems and stopping the slide to socialism.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that Senator-elect Brown is the one man that is going to change all this. I am skeptical of any politician because I'm not sure you can go to Washington and not leave damaged goods. I hope he can go to Washington DC and have a positive impact but time will tell. The much more interesting and significant topic is that the American people responded to conservatism. Brown's election proves that regardless of how "blue" a state is; if a clear spoken and enthusiastic conservative goes out and explains what conservatism means the people will get behind them. A focus on fiscal matters is critically important. The Democrats spend like a 18 year old with their first credit card. If the GOP doesn't use the Brown campaign as a blueprint for November elections, the party really is brain dead.
We now stand a real shot at killing this horrid health bill that would cripple this nation for generations. Socialized medicine has never worked anywhere it has been tried and the Obama administration should be ashamed of itself for trying to shove this thing through when we told you no. You still work for us and Massachusetts proved that yesterday. Keep pushing us and we will send you all home with a pink slip.
